On a case-by-case basis. Hiro is comfortable with occasional physical contact of the positive variety from friends and family members, but he becomes a wet cat about hugs and doesn't have many social connections.
■ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE:
✘Hiro is a noodle. While he has become motivated by revenge on behalf of his brother and has taken steps to make his brother's robot combat-ready, Hiro himself, is not. He is capable of protective instincts and would fight to protect someone he cares for, but he has not taken a life, nor has he considered the emotional complexity attached to doing so. His canonpoint is just after he had made the decision to override Baymax's medical protocol and command him to destroy Callaghan, the man responsible for the fire that resulted in his brother's death.
✘Hiro cannot fathom disfiguring or mutilating a corpse. He's still more Disney than Marvel.
✘The only character that Hiro is currently willing to die for is Tadashi.
■ RELATIONSHIPS:
Considered a child prodigy, Hiro graduated high school at the age of 13 and has not, historically, had many friends. As he was often picked on as a child, Hiro withdrew and this habit has become the norm for him today. He does not make efforts to socialize with others and instead appears to rely solely on connections to his family. Given the death of his parents when Hiro was three years old, these family connections are his Aunt Cass and older brother Tadashi.
Following Tadashi's death and Hiro's acceptance to University of San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, Hiro had been exposed to his brother's friends- who have become invested in his well-being despite Hiro's attempts to isolate himself. This connection was established after a nurse robot named Baymax had contacted them on Hiro's behalf, attempting to facilitate the grieving process.
■ MENTAL INFORMATION:
✘Hiro's older brother had died unexpectedly in a fire that he has only recently discovered was not accidental. This discovery has prompted him into acts of recklessness and creation. Instead of coming to terms with the loss and seeking justice for the theft of his technology and the fire, Hiro has become increasingly destructive, willing to do whatever is necessary to achieve his goals. His scientific genius has become a tool that he utilizes liberally in order to further these ends.
✘He is still in the process of grieving and has not allowed himself to do so. Hiro's habit has been to isolate himself from friends and family as well as to abandon his University acceptance in favor of an illegal career as a botfighter.
✘When his brother's friends intervened and prevented Hiro from killing the man he considered responsible for his brother's death, Hiro expressed frustration and rage, abandoning them on a quarantined island as he attempted to return Baymax to his weaponized state and finish the job.

Used to doing what he wants when he wants, despite social and legal consequences, Hiro could well be considered a rebellious liability. That said, he is also fairly insecure and well aware of his own weaknesses, so he is certainly capable of being convinced to cooperate with the CDC.
